Street Gang Prevention
For Young People
Paul brings over twelve years of law enforcement experience to these workshops. Of those twelve years, he spent five years as a Detective, Pro-Active Officer and "Street Gang Expert" in the Gang Unit for the King County Sheriff's Department in Seattle, Washington. He worked the streets gathering intelligence, worked with gang members and assembled felony and misdemeanor cases for the prosecutors office.
In these prevention workshops he provides insights and reasons why youth find this form of "family" important. He shares ways to help them resist the pull and uncovers reasons why people choose to become gang members. He provides effective support and concrete tools to help prevent youth from choosing this way of life.
Kids will learn how to:- Avoid the pitfals of this fake "family"
- Get their needs met in a healthy way
- Feel better about themselves
- Get out - if they are in
- Learn from this mistake
